RALPH COMPOTARO JR.,WORLD WAR II MARINE
Ralph Compotaro Jr., 58, of 510 Washington ave. died yesterday in Newcomb Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A lifelong resident of Vineland he served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, in Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Guadalcanal and Guam and the Marianas Islands. He was a member of St. Isidore Church.

Surviving are his mother, Antoinetta Compotaro; three brothers, Carmine, Angelo and Dominick, all of Vineland; three sisters, Millie Straus of Camden, Joseph Sressman of Estell Manor and Marguerita Compotaro of Vineland.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday from the Rone Funeral Chapel with a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Isidore Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral chapel will be Thursday 7 to 9 p.m.

COMPOTARO: on December 25, 1973, Ralph Jr. of 510 Washington ave. in his 59th year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at the Rone Funeral Chapel, 1110 east Chestnut ave., on Friday, December 28 at 8:30 a.m. Thence to St. Isadore's Church where a Mass of Resurrection will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Interment in Siloam Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rone Chapel Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
