Former lead crop dusting pilot for Downstown Airport

Frank Parave III, 72, of Buena died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at South Jersey Healthcare, Elmer Hospital.

Born in Malaga, he was the son of Frank and Evelyn Parave. For the past 40 years, he had worked for Downstown Airport as the lead crop dusting pilot. In addition, he had flown water bucket planes in combating forest fires. Frank also worked for Pedroni Fuel Co. as a driver for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Hill); daughters, Helen Reiss of Massachusetts, Tammy Hullihen of Glassboro, Karen Carver of Vineland, and Janice Owens of Pittsgrove; sons, Dean Parave of Malaga, Mike and Joe Hullihen of Vineland; and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are through South Jersey Cremation Services in Elmer.

In Memory of Our Father, Frank Joseph Parave, III, who passed on January 22, 2004

"Sorrow passes quickly once we truly understand, the flowers that were once our own are held now in God’s hands." He is now at peace and peace is also in our hearts.

He is survived by Frank Joseph Parave, IV, Douglas Martin Parave, Lori Patricia Parave, Dina Parave-Fogg, Dean Parave, his sister, June Parave Weed, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

There will be a memorial service held in his honor on February 1, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cranberry Run Clubhouse in Buena , NJ . Friends are welcome to attend.
