Barbara Compotaro Spencer, 45, of Margate passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2006.
Born in Vineland, Barbara had lived in the shore area for the past 20 years. She worked for the Bally's and Sands casinos for many years.

Barbara loved to garden, go to the beach and watch the ocean. She also loved children and always enjoyed time with her friends and family. She will be remembered mostly for her laughs and smiles.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Spencer of Margate; her parents, Fay and Dominic Compotaro of Norma; grandfather, Joseph Hermen of Norma; brother, Nicholas Compotaro and wife Barbara; two sisters, Antionette Curley and husband Timothy of Vineland, and Patricia Downey of Vineland; two nieces; three nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 1019 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

  1. this was my aunt her life was taken by a peice of shit man. she was killed by her boyfriend i will never let that off my mind. she was the best aunt anyone could ever ask for she would give you the clothes off her back even if she didnt know you. it breaks my heart everytime i think about it. R.I.P aunt barbra nobody will EVER take your place in my heart. I will not except the fact that he is going to get away with this i will get him i rest that on my soul.
